Product Overview

Gorgeous new Sterling Silver ring featuring a colorful Fire Agate cut in Tucson out of rough from The One Track Mine, located at Deer Creek in Arizona. This stone is unusual in that it is cut from the back side meaning that the color layers are concave instead of domed or convex. There is also an area of Sagenite needles that have been covered with fire layers, forming small cones of color. Very rare in most Fire Agate mines. There is a small cavity caused by a cluster of these cones on the side of the stone, which is very interesting to look at under magnification (to me anyway so I left it rather than grind it away).
This stone weighs approx. 7.78 cts. This ring has a smooth domed split shank and is size 6 3/4

Hallmarked "STERLING". Ring top approx. 19.1 X 17.3 mm.
Please be sure to look at all of the photos as we use different light sources and various angles to try to capture how the item will lookThe images showing a Penny next to the item were taken in Sunlight, while those with a Dime were taken inside.
